Manson Mesa High School was established by PUSD and launched for the 2015-16 school year. Named after the mesa upon which the City of Page was built in the early 1950s and with a nod to the Manson Yazzie family and the Navajo Nation, Manson Mesa High School embraces its Page community and Navajo heritage.

MMHS is designed to support students in the completion of their high school education. MMHS focuses on students who have fallen significantly behind in their overall course credits, offering accelerated on-line courses augmented by English and math teachers. Our motto is “If you don’t learn the way we teach, we will teach the way you learn.” The staff is dedicated to creating individualized learning plans to support each student from all walks of life. This philosophy is reinforced by our mission “…to support students in a small individualized learning environment in the completion of their high school education” and our vision that “Every MMHS student will be prepared for his or her post-secondary life where they will be productive and contributing members of society.” MMHS curriculum is self-paced. Highly motivated students looking forward to graduation and beginning their adult lives thrive here.

While MMHS is a separate entity from Page High School, students still have an opportunity to take elective courses at PHS, especially those in career and technical education. MMHS provides students flexibility in scheduling by offering day courses from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Staying after school to continue working is highly encouraged, and the district is in the planning and development stage of offering evening classes, if attendance and necessity arises.
